Our professional responsibility is to reduce the risk of infection to others as far as possible. Getting vaccinated against diseases that can be passed person-to-person in healthcare settings is part of this responsibility. The Trust will provide advice, guidance and support on vaccinations and access to vaccinations where requested.
To work with our Carer Engagement Co-ordinator on a range of opportunities including supporting Family members visiting for the first time, events, workshops and other support for families and friends.
Langdon Hospital is near Dawlish, and is home to Devon Partnership NHS Trusts Secure Services. The Dewnans Centre has 4 Medium Secure Wards. Chichester House is a Low Secure Ward.
We support men from the South West area of England who, as a consequence of their mental health needs, have sometimes had contact with the legal system and/or require a safe and secure environment that enables them to receive a wide range of treatments, therapies and care to assist in their recovery.
Our ethos is to work TOGETHER and involve our patients, staff and carers in service development and improvement.
An informal visit from any interested candidate, would be well received and accommodated at a mutually convenient time.
You will be volunteering alongside and with the support of the Patient and Carer Engagement Lead to complement the overall support offered to families by Secure Services.
