“The Preceptorship Programme is great. There are study days so you can spend time off the ward and you'll see your peers that you went to university with who are working in other areas. I’ve learnt more about things like medication and supervision, things that aren't taught so much at university that are more practical.”

“The Preceptorship Programme is flexible to your needs and to how much support you require. I've met people from North Devon and Torbay that are all doing their Preceptorship at the same time... it's a really nice social support network, as well as providing clinical support.”

“You've got everything within thirty minutes. From Exeter you've got a beach - you've got a variety of beaches. You've got great schools, you've got great opportunities and fantastic music and there's always something to do and it doesn't cost a fortune either.”

Sarah – Ward Manager

“I've always know the Devon Partnership Trust and the location is brilliant, if you want to go to London you can get the train - just a couple of hours down the road and you're in London. You're near Bristol, you're near Cornwall - Devon is such a good place to be in.”

Jo - Senior Nurse Practitioner

“The flexibility, you can have that city lifestyle because you've got Exeter but also you can flip that, you can go to the beach, you can go far away from the busyness, all the people - you've got the best of both worlds, I think.”
