Schools and colleges

Working in Partnership to achieve Gatsby Benchmarking Information for Schools and Colleges.

We are keen to engage with local schools, colleges and local community groups to provide an insight into careers within our organisation, across a number of Clinical and Non–Clinical roles.

We have a small number of NHS Ambassadors who are staff passionate about spreading the word about careers in the NHS and who can talk to your students face to face or via MS Teams about their own career journey. We can also offer an industry insight, apprenticeship talks, mock interviews and attend careers fairs.

Devon Partnership Trust along with Health Education England are currently looking at a virtual work experience platform to enable our work experience to be available to everyone. The programme is interactive and features live webinars with NHS professionals, virtual reality tours of various clinical departments, modules on nursing, Allied Health Professionals, a variety of non-clinical roles as well as a module specific to careers in mental health and learning disability. If this is something your school or college would be interested please contact dpt.careershub@nhs.net
