An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Older Peoples Mental Health (OPMH) Directorate as a Ward Manager at Beech Ward.

Beech ward, based on the grounds of Torbay General Hospital, is a 16 bedded inpatient mental health ward supporting primarily older adults above the age of 65 with functional mental illnesses. It has been rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.
As a Ward Manager you will lead the nursing team in providing high-quality care and support to older adults experiencing an acute episode of mental illness, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.
You will empower recovery and deliver supervision to staff across the ward to deliver a high standard of healthcare. You will lead by example, acting as a positive role model to all members of the nursing team, working with the ward leadership team to create a caring and compassionate culture that provides high-quality, patient-centred care.
