Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced highly motivated administrator to join the Community Eating Disorder Service, the team is based in Exeter but covers Devon footprint (excluding Plymouth).

The team has seen expansion in terms of caseload, complexity and service demands over the past couple of years, we know provide physical health monitoring alongside therapeutic interventions.

We are looking for someone to lead our admin team in meeting the every changing demands and targets that the team are under. We need someone who is confident in setting up and developing new systems and processes and line managing staff.

You must have the ability to interoperate and report on data such as caseload flow and capacity, waiting list targets and Key performance indicators

Main duties of the job

  • Set up and develop patient appointment systems
  • Arrange and coordinate team meetings and professional meetings
  • Monthly reporting on targets and Key performance indicators
  • Line management and supervision of other admin staff
  • producing complex and sensitive reports for the service manager
  • coordination of staff diaries and appointments
  • Preparing and minuting team meetings

Essential

  • Business or professional qualification to degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience E.g managerial knowledge, project monitoring, supervisory, workload management, acquired through a degree or equivalent training and substantial experience

Experience

  • Substantial recent, within past 5 years, experience of working with senior managers
  • Experience of similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of all software applications particularly use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of using electronic patient record systems
  • Experience of information management
  • Experience working as part of a team
